Hopes for agreement rekindle ; Trump hints at talks with Iran in Islamabad again

US president tells US journalist to stay back I. Islamabad to see next of US -Iran talks . Iran too hints at fresh talks with US

Islamabad : After just four days, Iran and the US are likely to return to Islamabad for the new round of talks to make another attempt to sign an agreement for lasting peace in the Middle East (ME).
The international media was hinting on the second round of talks between the US and Iran for a couple of days. The Wall Street Journal reported a day earlier that the global leaders are putting pressure on Iran and the US to re- negotiate thorny issues, in particular, Iran’s enriched uranium and opening of the Strait of Hormuz , and there is a possibility that Donald Trump sends his team again to Islamabad for the next round of talks with Iran.

Vice president , JD Vance , had told a brief press conference on Sunday morning before departing for the US after a 21-hour long marathon session of talks to turn the fragile ceasefire into a permanent peace agreement that the US has given a very attractive concessional package to Iran during 21 -hour long marathon talks and it was now up to it to accept it and reach to an agreement for permanent peace in the ME.

Iranian delegation , however , did not make any comment to JD Vance’s press conference and left Islamabad for Tehran on the same evening. Although , Donald Trump , as usual, kept on using threatening tone and warned Iran that the US can go for his blockade .Next day, Donald Trump did ordered his naval forces to blockade Iran so that it could not do any business with global partners. Trump ‘s plan of blockade of Iran was to harm Iran financially and force it to accept the US terms for opening of the Strait of Hormuz and other harsh conditions , but he faced huge resistance from global leaders like Mr XI of China , MBS of Saudi Arabia , Turkyie and many other major players over his plan to put in place Iran ‘s blockade .
Seeing the growing opposition of Iran’s blockade , Donald Trump probably reconsidered his position and decided to go back to talks in Islamabad.
Donald Trump on Tuesday told a reporter of The NEW YORK POST who had travelled to Islamabad for covering Islamabad talks last week that things were changing quickly regarding any agreement with Iran in the next two days and she should stay back in Islamabad for coverage of the next round of US-Iran talks. Donald Trump added that US is ready to go to Islamabad for the next round of talks in two days. Donald Trump again praised Field Martial , Asim Munir , and said why should we go to some other country for talks with Iran which had no relevance to the ME conflict. He said the US team is preparing to go back to Islamabad for talks because CDF , General Asim Munir , was doing a great job. Since stalment of the first round on Sunday last , Pakistan was making renewed efforts to bring Iran and the US back on the negotiation table.

Iran has also confirmed that it was mulling to resume talks with the US for a formal agreement soon , but in its opinion the date for the next round was yet to be finalized.
