THATHA: Deputy Commissioner Thatha, Ghazanfar Ali Qadri, has said the service to the people is our top priority and the officials of all departments of the district should follow this basic principle.
Ghazanfar Al Qadri was addressing to the senior officials of all departments of the district after taking charge of his office of deputy commissioner Thatha on Monday.
He directed to the senior officials of all departments of the district that they should not repeat mistakes of the past and perform their duties with honesty, dignity and commitment.
The deputy commissioner added that the officials of all departments of district should prove themselves as real servant to the people so that they do not suffer at any level and for anything they need from any department of the district.
Ghazanfar Ali Qadri maintained that the government servants should take care of health of the people besides making sure that they get all basic facilities without any hurdle.
He said the officials of the local government and health departments should prove themselves as a role model to set an example for the officials of other departments.
The deputy commissioner also directed to the officials of Works department to complete all development projects as per schedule so that the people take their full advantage and have better life. He stressed the need of supply of pure and quality drinking water to all parts of the district and made cautious to the concerned departments that no leniency in this regard would be shown. He noted that dispensation of basic facilities like drinking water, health care and better road facilities are top priorities and his office will utilize all options for their timely supply to the people.
