Poor captaincy, worse coaching cost Pakistan England tour

ISLAMABAD: It was Babar Azam, the poor captain of Pakistan cricket team, who could be held responsible for defeat in both one day international (ODIs) and T20 series against England in 2021 tour.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Misbahul Haq as coach should be questioned for what Babar Azam called as ‘mistakes’ after losing 3rd T20 as well as series to England.

This trika of Babar Azam, Misbahul Haq and PCB actually satiated their personal ego by playing throughaway games in England.

Can anyone in Imran Khan government question Babar Azam as towhy he came as opener with Rizwan in the last T20 after losing the second match?

Was he free to go to the ground with flat face to throw away the decisive last T20 to England just to satisfy his ego when he was advised by experts like Shoab Akhtar who repeatedly asked him not to open in the last T20 with Rizwan.

Second major question which needs to be asked from Mr Misbah who allowed Babar Azam to bat first in the last T20 after winning the toss?

Will someone take notice of Mr Misbah’s indiferent attitude during the whole England series. He looked even least interested and concerned over Pakistan ‘s defeat in England.

None of these three characters ….Babar Azam, Mr Misbah and PCB …bothered to think what Pakistani fans, who turned- up in huge number to pat and support team Pakistan, would feel over humiliating defeat again and again from England due to stupidity not ‘mistakes’ of these characters.

PCB which seems a dummy character should read Ramiz Raja’s comments on team Pakistan’s cricket performance before going for more tours with the same combination and bring home more humiliation.

Cricketer-turned politician prime minister, Imran Khan, should watch at least one match of team Pakistan before endorsing it to go to the next world cup.
