LAHORE: Pakistan on Sunday crushed India in first match of T20 championship 2021, played at Dubai International Stadium in United Arab Emirates (UAE) when it won the crucial match against India with 10 wickets. Since it was Pakistan’s first -ever win over India in T20 competition it makes new history in Pakistan’s cricket . India in the past won all the T20 matches against Pakistan.
Indian skipper , Virat Kohli, in short comments, after losing the match to Pakistan, said his team could not execute its original plan to set a winning total in the match against Pakistan. He conceded that Pakistan outclassed India by winning today’s match with 10 wickets.
Pakistan’s swimmer, Shaheen Shah Afridi’s outclass performance with ball set a stage for Pakistan’s win against India. He got three wickets of top Indian batsmen. Other Pakistani batsmen also performed great job in the match. The performance of Rizwan as wicket- keeper was unparalelled . He took two magical catches. He also played a great game with bat. His individual score was 79 not out.
Pakistani skipper, Babar Azam as usual played a cool and great game. He scored 68 runs not out.
India had scored 151 runs after losing 7 wickets. Pakistan achieved the target in 18th over.
Shaheen Shah Afridi was declared as man of the match.
