Will always stand with oppressed, downtrodden: Umme Rubab

ISLAMABAD; Umme Rubab, a young girl from Thatha who is known as “Daughter of Sindh”, for her struggle against Chandio Sardars, who had killed her family elders, has vowed to stand with oppressed and downtrodden segment of the society. She reaffirmed her commitment to reach out to every one and every where, where Sardars and Wadairas would usurp the rights of underprivileged segment of the society.
Addressing a ceremony orgainsed by Pakistan National Arts Council (PNCA) and Shah Abdul Latif Social Culture Association here on Sunday to celeberate Sindh culture day, Umme Rubab said ” No oppressed or victim of Sardars and Wadairas was alone in this country now . I will reach out to each one of them to voice for oppressed and downtrodden across Pakistan”.
She said Sindh was a land of saints and peace lovers and a handful Sardars and Wadairas can not dictate to the peace loving people of Sindh. Umme Rubab said this country was not meant for Sardars and Wadairas to keep doing injustice to the poor. She added that the land of Sindh and its colorful cap and Ajrak speak of peace and love of Sindh.
Umme Rubab herself is fighting for justice in tripple murder case of her family elders , but she has emerged as a source of inspiration for others who are facing similiar kind of injustice at the hands of influentials and powerful elite. Umme Rubab has actually given a lesson to the oppressed people of Pakistan that they, instead giving up to powerful elite to keep going for their cruelity and injustice to lower segment of the society, should resist such cruel and powerful elite of the country.
Her struggle for justice has set an example for everyone in the society that if you do not give up you can take even Sardars and Wadaira s to jail.
The participants of the Sindh culture day also acknowleged struggle of Umme Rubab and awarded her with a special award of courage. Parliamentary secretary for Culture and Trade, Mohtarma Gizala Saifi, Pir Mehdi Shah of Lal Shahbaz Kalander, Mashaal Malik and Begum Ishrat handed over award to Umme Rubab.
