VIENNA (Austria) : Ambassador of Pakistan to Austria and Slovakia, Aftab Ahmad Khokher, hosted monthly E-Kachehri here on Thursday for Pakistani community in Austria and Slovakia. Many Pakistanis residing in Austria attended the meeting.
In his opening remarks, ambassador khokher informed that Pakistan had hosted a very successful Extraordinary Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) of OIC on Afghanistan in Islamabad in December 2021. He shared that the international community had welcomed and appreciated Pakistan’s initiative. He informed the community about organizing an event on 5th February to express solidarity with the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Ambassador Khokher shared that Balochistan police had launched Balochistan Khidmat Markaz for online verification of various documents like character certificate for facilitation of Pakistanis. He also intimated that the Embassy had started returning of Power of Attorney on the same day which would save time of the community. He added that the purpose was to facilitate the community as they would not have to visit the Embassy twice.
The community members shared their observations and asked questions which were appropriately responded by Ambassador Khokher.
