ISLAMABAD : A medical report of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) submitted before the accountability court on Tuesday gave a new turn to the on-going controversy over former prime minister’s exit from Pakistan for treatment in London.
The medical report strongly bars ‘ailing’ Nawaz Sharif from travelling back to Pakistan . It said Nawaz Sharif’s travel to Pakistan could be very risky for his life . According to the medical report, Nawaz Sharif, could move to any future destination only after proper treatment of his heart disease. The medical report noted that Nawaz Sharif was suffering from heart disease for years. His health deteriorated after death of his spouse..Kalsoom Nawaz. The medical report noted that
Kalsoom Nawaz’s death had damaging affect on Nawaz Sharif’s health.
The fresh medical report has contradicted the media reports that had hinted at Nawaz Sharif’s return to Pakistan ahead of the next general elections. PMLN second tier leadership had been claiming in its media talks that Nawaz Sharif could come to Pakistan anytime to face his cases in the court of law. The latest medical report has contradicted statements on Nawaz Sharif’s return to Pakistan. It also made Pakistan Muslim League PML chief , Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain’s views on Nawaz Sharif ‘s return true. Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain has time and again claimed in his media statements that there was no possibility of Nawaz ‘s return to Pakistan in the given political situation.
The ruling Pakistan Tahreek e Insaf (PTI) chided Nawaz Sharif’s new medical report and demanded of the court to order a probe to check its authenticity. Information minister Fawad Hussain Chaudhary , in his reaction made fun of new medical report of Nawaz Sharif saying ” PMLN supermo has been advised by a Pakistani-American doctor to have daily walk in Hyde Park London to stay healthy”.
