ISLAMABAD :A group of 17 members national assembly of the ruling party on Thursday openly and publically expressed no confidence on their party leader and prime minister , Imran Khan. The dissident members of the lower house who have shown no confidence on the prime minister included
Ahmad Hasan Dahr, Rana Qasim Noon, Raja Riaz, Noor Alam Khan, Wajiha Qamar, Ramesh Kumar , Ghaffar Watto, Basit Bukhari, Shair Waseer , Nuzhat Pathan , Khawaja Sheraz and many others.
The group of dissident members of the national assembly are in Sindh House . The dissident members of the national assembly included majority of estranged members of the ruling party.
Raja Riaz , a vibrant leader of Tareen Group, said ” We are in Sindh House according to our own will and the government’s allegations of horse trading were baseless. Raja Riaz added that it is too late for the prime minister to control things. Raja Riaz claimed thet 24 members of the national assembly of the ruling party have deserted from the ruling party. Ramish Kumar, who is a minority member of the ruling party, told the media here on Thursday that 33 members national assembly including three federal ministers of the ruling party have decided to support no confidence against the prime minister. Wajiha Qamar claimed that due to bad governance she was not in a position to visit her constituency
Noor Alam Khan said there was no law to deprive the members of the national assembly. Amir Liaqat , another estranged ruling party member national assembly taunted prime minister by saying ” I am neutral and will vote according to the conscience “.
