ISLAMABAD : in an expected, but major development , prime minister , Imran Khan , on Monday dismissed his ‘Wasim Akram Plus’ Sardar Usman Buzdar as chief minister of Punjab.
The prime minister sacked his dear Wasim Akram Plus’ after a meeting with Pakistan Muslim League (Q) delegation headed by Chaudhary Pervez Elahi. After the meeting, PMLQ leader and federal minister , Moonis Elahi , told the media that the prime minister ,. Imran Khan , took resignation from Sardar Usman Buzdar to offer the office of chief minister Punjab to Pervez Elahi. According to Moonis Elahi, Chaudhary Pervez Elahi , has accepted the offer of the prime minister to become chief minister of Punjab . He further said the prime minister has assigned to Chaudhary Pervez Elahi to contact to dissident group of PTI and Tareen group and bring them back to party fold.
Chaudhary Pervez Elahi’s U turn and acceptance of the prime minister’s offer to become chief minister Punjab shows the PMLQ’s entire objective is to get power and its struggle is not for Pakistan rather its sole purpose is power and power nothing else . In the first PMLQ got reaction of its U turn as Tariq Bahir Cheema , a stalwart of PMLQ , has announced to vote for opposition in no confidence motion against the prime minister . Tariq Bashir Cheema has also resigned as federal minister soon after his party’s decision of taking U turn and accepting the office of the chief minister of Punjab .
