Establishment gave me three options : PM reveals

ISLAMABAD : Finally, prime minister , Imran Khan, on Friday conceded that establishment had given him three options … Mid term election, resignation, or face no confidence motion and he believes new elections was a better option.
The prime minister spoke out his mind in an interview given to a private TV channel . He said he would never resign rather would fight till the last ball. Imran Khan dispelled the impression that he intended to de-notify army chief , Qamar Javed Bajwa, and claimed this impression was created by Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz ( PMLN) . The prime minister said he knew who met with whom in different embassies . He asked as to why some ambassadors had met with PMLN vice president , Maryam Nawaz. The prime minister ‘s reference was probably towards meeting of a senior US official who had called on P.MLN president , Shahbaz Sharif and vice president , Maryam Nawaz, sometimes back in Lahore. The prime minister claimed that PMLN leaders including Maryam Nawaz had been maligning the army in the recent past . He said Nawaz Sharif had meetings in London with some people who had history of working against Pakistan .The prime minister said he would never go for anything that could weaken Pakistan.
He disclosed that he wanted to keep general Faiz Hameed as Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) till November last year due to volatile Afghan situation . He argued that the civil war in Afghanistan could damage Pakistan beyond repair.
The prime minister apprehended that a campaign is likey to be launched against his wife and her friend although Bushra Bibi never goes out from home . The prime minister added that the accountability process was made controversial to create disrespect for it in the public which he believes was a big crime . Imran Khan repeated his mantra of threatening letter and claimed that the conspiracy to dethrown his government was made some 5 to 6 months ago. His claim has been chided by US. The US State Department has denied in clear terms that US has written any such letter to Pakistan .
