ISLAMABAD : Nov 8, 2022: Pakistan has accused Kenya of non cooperation in journalist Arshad Sharif’s murder case .
Interior minister , Rana Sanaullah , hurled this allegation on Kenyian government at a press conference held here on Tuesday
The Interior minister also accused that Kenyian police can indulge in any henous crime for money.
Rana Sanaullah said ‘ Kenyian police have history of working for others for money ‘.
This is a serious allegation by Pakistan on Kenyian government.
Rana Sanaullah maintained that Kenyian government is not providing data to Pakistan to help it reach to the bottom of the case.
Pakistani journalist Arshad Sharif was killed in Kenya last month . Since then his murder has become a deep conspiracy . Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) is trying to use the case against the army to malign it .
However , the army confronted PTI in open and its two generals put the facts before the nation at an unusual presser.
To investigate the murder of Arshad Sharif , the government had sent a 2-member investigation team to Nairobi , Kenya some two weeks ago.
Interior minister Rana Sanaullah confirmed at the presser that Pakistan’s investigation team has done a thorough investigation in Arshad Sharif murder case in Kenya and it briefed him on return to Pakistan .
Rana Sanaullah said the same team is going to Dubai to collect more evidence in the case.
The minister noted that on the basis of data and information collected from Kenya he doubt Kenyian police claim that Arshad Sharif’s murder was a mis identity case. He said on the basis of data collected by the government he firmly believes Arshad Sharif’s murder was targeted and its accused will be arrested soon.
Rana Sanaullah also asked the provincial governments to remove barricades placed by PTI protestors .
