THATHA: A delegation of Human Rights Commission ( HRC) and members national aszembly had a detailed meeting with Umme Rubab (Daughter of Sindh) to get briefing on triple murder case of her father and two other family members.
Umme Rubab ‘s father, grandfather and uncle were killed in 2018 over enemity by influential Chandios who are considered close to Pakistan Peoples Party (,PPP) top leadership.
Although, the accused have been arrested on the orders of the Supreme Court of Pakistan ( SCP), but ‘Daughter of Sindh’ is yet to get justice from the court for brutual murder of her famiy elders.
The accused are using political influence to delay the case proceedings in the court.
Umme Rubab a lone weak girl is trying to fight against rotton and stinky police and judicial system single- handedly.
The question arisis how long a poor girl can fight against existing justice system?.
Another painful side of this sad story is as to why the court is delaying justice in this case. Is the court unaware of the phrase Delayed justice is denied justice.
Its the court which can decide it will keep on hearing the case till poor girl gives up and surrenders to the existing stinky judicial system or it stands up and says here is justice to say no to barbarism.
HRC delegation too had disappointment to hear that Umme Rubab was made to suffer for seeking justice from the court in the triple murder case of her family elders. Its members extended full support to Daughter of Sindh’ and assured her full cooperation to keep fighting to seek justice in the triple murder case of her family elders.
The HRC delegation also spoke to media on the issue. It urged upon PPP chairman, Balawal Bhutto to play his role in providing justice to Umne Rubab in the case.
