LAHORE; Jamaat Islami (JI) ameer senator, Sirajul Haq, has warned to the ruling elite to avoid meddle with the idealogical image of Pakistan in a bid to introduce secualar style of society in Pakistan or get ready to face tough resistance from ulema and students of madrassas.
JI ameer was addressing to the students of different madrassas in Lahore on Wednesday.
He claimed that the government was conspiring against the madrassas by intoducing different acts in a bid to weaken religious teachings in the country. He said the students studying in madrassas were true patriots and defender of idealogical boundries of the country and any attempt to target them for any vicious design would be resisted tooth and nail.
Sirajul Haq claimed that Imran Khan government has caused irriparable loss to the national econony and in next phase it was planning to damage idealogical base of Pakistan by attacking madrassas.
He said ” I warn to the rulers that they should avoid to attack madrassas which are true idealogical base to protect the country and any attempt to implement this nefarious design would be foiled to the end.
Sirajul Haq stressed upon the religious forces to get ready and united to resist what he termed as anti madrassas agenda of the rulers.
JI ameer said the rulers were making efforts to change sylabus to soften the idealogical approach of the nation, but claimed these efforts will be rejected by the people of Pakistan.
He urged upon the religious forces of Pakistan to get united and fight out any anti religious agenda of the rulers.
