ISLAMABAD: Prime minister, Imran Khan, on Thursday assigned additional responsibility of his special assistant on Finance to Dr Waqar Masood Khan.
Dr Khan, a man having lifelong experience in managing the economic affairs of Pakistan, is already looking after the revenue side of the economy. Under his supervision, revenue collection has shown robust growth.
Dr Waqar Masood Khan is now given additional responsibility of SAPM on Finance.
Clubing of finance and revenue under Dr Waqar Masood Khan will not only make working of Finance Division and Revenue Board simple, but it would also have positive effect on tax collection and sorting out financial matters of the national economy.
