LAHORE : The Punjab Anti Corruption Department has arrested two accused allegedly involved in unlawful allotment of a 10 acre plot worth Rs 600 million for only Rs 83 million in Faisalabad economic zone to Faidek , a company owned by Farah Gogi , close friend of former first lady, Bushra Bibi, and her mother , causing loss of over Rs 500 million to the national exchequer .
The accused who have been arrested for facilitating, Faidak company of Farah Gogi and her mother , included Rana Youdaf , Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Faidek , former head of plot allotment committee of Faisalabad economic zone and secretary of the zone.
According to the media reports, the arrested accused facilitated Farah Gogi and her mother for preparing fake documents and grab 10 acre plot in Faisalabad economic zone for throw away price.
According to the Punjab watch dog , Ahsin Jamil Gujjar, husband of Farah Gogi too had a key role in the fraudulent allotment of industrial plot in Faisalabad economic zone to the company jointly owned by her wife , Farah Gogi and her mother as he provided a fake guarantee of Rs 2 billion to the Faisalabad economic zone allotment committee to mischievously qualify for the allotment of plot at nominal price.
Since the head of the allotment of the committee and other committee members were already a party to the fraudulent allotment of the plot to Faidek company of Farah Gogi and her mother , the acceptance of the fake bank gurantee was not a problem for any character of the fraud including Farah Gogi , her mother or Ahsin Jamil Gujjar .
The Punjab Anti Corruption Department on Friday claimed that Farah Gogi formed a fake company to usurp a big industrial plot in Faisalabad economic zone for peanut .
It said a joint investigation team was probing the case to reach out to each character of the fraud .
Farah Gogi is in the eye of storm since ouster of Imran Khan government .Her name is surfacing in each mega scam of PTI rule. Farah Gogi whose real name is Farah Shahzadi was de- fecto chief minister of Punjab. She being a trusted confident and friend of Bushra Bibi , wife of Imran Khan, had an official status of a family to visit residence of former prime minister in Bani Gala and prime minister house in Islamabad .
