ISLAMABAD : Ousted prime minister, Imran Khan, has called upon its party workers and followers to get ready for march on Islamabad in the last week of May .
“I call upon the workers of my party and all others to get ready to march on Islamabad in the last week of May to make sure that the incumbent government announces general elections in the country forthwith ‘, Imran Khan declared here in his message to the party men and followers on Saturday.
Since ouster in last month, Imran Khan is calling for fresh elections in the country. His demand of holding fresh elections is based on an assessment that he can win the next elections and come back in power if the general elections are called in the country without any delay. His political aides have made Imran Khan feel that if he gets announced general elections in next one one months or so and win them in majority he would have a chance to appoint a new army chief of his own choice.
Much for PTI and Imran Khan’s future depends on Islamabad power show . If PTI gets mammoth response from public for its upcoming Islamabad rally it can add to pressure on incumbent government for calling general elections in the country . In other case , the political future of Imran Khan and his party will not only lose its political magnet only, but also be facing many new challenges .
Imran Khan is hoping to bring 2 million people in Islamabad to force the new government to hold fresh elections in the country. He repeated his claim on Saturday and vowed to bring 2 million people for march on Islamabad in the last week of current month.
