Ali Amin Gandapur was leading Pakistan Tehreek- e Insaf (PTI) rally to Islamabad for two days. On Saturday , PTI leaders including Omar Ayub Khan and Barrister Saif , claimed that the police and Rangers detained Ali Amin Gandapur in Islamabad.
The local media quoting official sources claimed that Ali Amin Gandapur has not been arrested. However , these sources did not give any hint of Ali Amin Gandapur ‘s whereabout.
Meanwhile, Islamabad High Court (IHC) took up a petition regarding PTI protest in the federal capital.
The court summoned Interior secretary , Khurrum Agha, to question him what the government was doing to end PTI protest in Islamabad. Khurrum Agha informed the court about visits of many important delegations to Islamabad in coming few days and sought the court direction to put off PTI protest. The court ordered the authorities to assign a place to PTI in Islamabad for protest.
