Due to the role that the Pakistani ambassador has played for the position and diplomacy in the UN regarding the situation in Gaza, some influential countries may face declaratory or “silent” opposition. Afghanistan and Venezuela are currently not able to vote due to some technical reasons while Pakistan is also facing opposition from some of its allies India and Russia.
