ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Wednesday took the news of death of legendary actor and producer of Indian film industry DIlip Kumar with grief and sorrow.
Almost every Pakistani heard the news of ‘Yousaf Khan’s death with grief and pain. Dilip Kumar, real name Yousaf Khan, had born in Peshawar and Pakistani always took him their Khan though he had shifted to Mumbai in 1935 with his family for business purpose, but Pakistanis always considered him like a Pakistani.
His name was familiar to even those Pakistani even to those who might have not seen his any movie in their entire life, but being a Muslim and Khan he was a popular personality in Pakistan.
During his visit to Pakistan, Dilip Kumar was showered great amount of love by Pakistanis which he admired and acknowledge in his life whenever he spoke about his visit to Pakistan.
His old ancestral house in Peshawar is a permanent feature of visit for Pakistanis. The people from all over Pakistan go to visit Yousaf Khan’s native house to express their love for him.
Yousaf Khan died today.. July 7, 2021.. at 98.
