KARACHI: October 27,2022: US dollar is continuing gaining streak against the rupee. US dollar gained 0.35 paisa against the rupee on Thursday .
With the latest increase US dollar value jumped up to Rs 221 in interbank.
In open market , US dollar so showed a sizeable increase of Rs 1 to take its value to Rs 223.20 against its last day value of Rs 222.20.
The Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) long march is a major cause of increase in US dollar value in currency market . The political uncertainty is weakening the rupee.
In last few days, the rupee has started to strengthen against US dollar and continuation of the same trend could bring price-hike down in coming days.
Seeing some improvement , Imran Khan announced long match basically to foil the government attempts to address economic woes of the country.
Since ouster through a no confidence , Imran Khan is taking every step which can damage Pakistan’s economy and subsequently expose its national security. Imran Khan’s long march is final attempt to damage Pakistan and put more economic pressure on it .
