This is the picture of Ramakrishna Dalmiya belonged to the Marwari community, Dalmiya was born in a small village “Churwa” in Rajasthan, Dalmiya went on to become one of the biggest capitalists in India. Established many companies, one of them was a cement factory which was founded in Karachi by the name of (Associate Cement Company), at that time the factory has been closed down after he was victimised for tax aversion charges and arrested in 1962. The plot of the factory and the adjoining area, today bear his daughter Shanti’s name known as Shanti Nagar and the area as Dalmia located between Gulshan Iqbal and Shahra e Faisal.
Dalmiya had a good relationship with Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, when Quaid-e-Azam wanted to sell a bungalow in Delhi, Dalmiya bought it.
Even the Mohatta Palace museum in Karachi belonged to him, built for his beloved wife Shivaratan. Sadly none of these gems were protected and promoted only their properties confiscated and they forced to flee for security reasons. It is only insecurity that brings looters windfall profits of looting what neither belong to them nor they deserve to own them is what today became of Pakistan. .
