Thatha: DC bans use of laud-speaker, illegal collection of sacrificial animals’ remains during Eidul Azha

THATHA: Deputy Commissioner Thatha, Ghazanfar Ali Qadri, on Tuesday issued orders to ban illegal collection of remains of sacrificial animals and directed to the district administration to have a close look on activities of banned outfits which collect remains of sacrificial animals on Eidul Azha and use its income for some unwanted activities.
Qadri was addressing a meeting of the senior official of all district administrative department here convened to review the arrangements made by the administration for Eidul Azha . Senior Superintendent Police (SSP), Dr Imran Khan, Rangers, Health and Local Government officials attended the meeting.
He also directed to the district administration to make foolproof arrangement for cleanliness on Eidul Azha and following days to make sure that remains of sacrificial animals are properly collected from each point of animals slaughtering and disposed- off accordingly to avoid their piling- up and making the environment of the city harmful for the residents.
Qadri directed to the administration to make sure that the citizens follow COVID-19 standard of procedures (SoPs) during Eid days to avoid spread of the pandemic.
He directed to the district administration to form committees to have snap checking to ensure strict implementation of COVID-19 SoPs during Eidul Azha.
Ghazanfar Ali Qadri has taken over charge of DC Thatha recently and he is on the feet to make sure that the citizens of the district see difference on all counts in the district. He himself is monitoring progress of all district departments on daily basis.
DC also ordered to cancel leaves of the officials of those departments of the district who directly monitor law and order and cleanliness of the district. He directed to the Assistant Commissioners to set up record room to monitor law and order and cleanliness situation in the entire district.
He also directed to the concerned officials to take strict action against profiteers during Eidul Azha days.
