Nothing hurts more when PTI Supremo Honourable Imran Khan is tricked by his own PTI so – called law makers, whose reputation stands tainted with corruption. My first physical contact with Honourable Imran Khan was at the Continental Hotel Mingora Swat, way back in 1995, where I was in the same room, where he being dead tired spoke on speaker phone to someone in Lahore, lying in prone position to be told that his political opponent goons rigged the elections by throwing away his polling agents.
Later, he visited us in Swat in 2001, to condole the death of my uncle Col. Arham Effendi mistaking him to be father of our Lahore based polo star cousin, Podger El Effendi, his Aitchison College senior. Later, he gave me a cold shoulder at the Lahore Airport despite my trying to return the favour by showing him my respects. There and then I had judged him to be not a good judge of the people that makes all the dirty people taking advantage of his association, the list is long, yet the point is to warn him against his political debacle at his own hands by his own chosen coterie of sycophants, who publicly swear by his life , but will never spare a chance to make a quick money at the cost of PTI reputation that they unfortunately besmirched .
Swat, is echoing with demand for a accountability first and election later having seen the rotten eggs in the PTI basket , who were not only incompetent but corrupt to the core, amassing wealth shaming their political predecessors that belied the PTI own manifesto of zero tolerance for corruption when their own ranks are stinking with corruption.
People of Swat do not speak kindly of the PTI law makers who proved themselves as the worst law breakers, in making quick money . A professional butcher turned billionaire overnight from PTI platform and the others also didn’t lack in their capability to get richer quicker. Those who knew these gold diggers intimately feel uncomfortable how they got a field day when their voters shockingly discovered their reality behind the the PTI honesty masks they wear. And now again their voters fear to be fielded by the PTI in the forthcoming elections, making them ask “if corruption was the criteria, then what and why was all this fuss about? “.
The worst and most shocking revelation is now the Honourable Imran Khan’s own look- alike – in – resemblance- politician from Mardan, Honourable Atif Khan, whose political opponents have gone over broad with scathing attacks on his financial integrity to have earned billions, when hardly he could show a few millions altogether in his declaration filed with the election commission in 2018.
There can be no smoke without fire and I am sure, Honourable Imran Khan himself is capable to personally investigate whether it is true that he managed to buy or offered to buy an expensive piece of land worth two and a half billion from the Mardan based Sarfraz Family, incidentally my cousins.
If this rumour spread by his political opponent by any chance is true then Imran Khan needs to be a most worried man not that he survived an assassination attempt and apprehend another rather fear the killers of his own long political struggle and its legacy that is not going to survive, given if he stubbornly believes he knows all and is always right.
Today, it is the public overwhelming sympathy for him and tomorrow it would be their hate to have trusted judgment of a leader, who was a bad judge of good people and a good judge of bad people.
