ISLAMABAD: Zahir Jaffar, the alleged killer of Noor Makadam, is a son the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Jaffar Brothers, an Islamabad based trading company.
The alleged killer…Zahir Jaffar…and the victim…Noor Makadam..were known to each other for long time.
“I know both (Zahir and Noor) were friends and I saw both of them taking active part in social events in Islamabad”, a known social activist and friend of Zahir Jaffar told NEWSMAN on Saturday on the terms of not disclosing his identity .
He recalled that Noor Makadam could be seen in almost every social gathering and walk .
She (Noor) did not deserve such barbaric treatment as she was very sensitive and human loving, our source recalled.
According to media reports, the alleged killer invited the victim to his house in posh sector F -7/4 Islamabad and killed her brutally.
The alleged killer who, according to his statement is a US national, made a plan to the victim for reasons yet to be ascertained by the police.
According to some media reports, the alleged killer had discussed the plan to kill someone and flee to US.
However, timely action of the police, foiled the alleged killer’s plan to flee from Pakistan after committing the crime.
The police presented the alleged killer before the court on Saturday and got his two-day physical remand. The court ordered to the police to present the alleged killer on Monday again.
