Quetza of South Africa took 4 wickets, Keshu Maharaj and Ngidi took 2 and 2 wickets respectively while Philokwayo took 1 wicket. It was the 9th match between Afghanistan and South Africa in the World Cup, South Africa has qualified for the semi-finals while Afghanistan has won 4 matches and is at the sixth position on the points table.
