Islamabad : The protests in Pakistan over assassination of Iran’s Supreme Commander , Ayatullah Khanenei , have worsened , forcing authority to take extra measures in all major cities to avert major security and administration issues.
The clashes between the police and protestors have claimed at least 23 lives in the last two days.
There is no respite in violent protests across Pakistan. The situation seems getting even worse in the coming days.
According to the local media reports , the law and order situation in Skardu , Gilgit -Baltistan has gone worse despite imposing curfew on Sunday and in the wake of deadly protests across the city and surrounding areas, the armed forces have been called in to control the situation.
The protestors are torching the United Nations (UN) offices in Gilgit- Baltistan.
In Karachi violent protests are continuing and the local administration has blocked major roads heading to US Consulate in Karachi.
Yesterday 12 people were killed in the firing last day outside US consulate in Karachi. At least three dozens others had injured.
On Monday , even bigger protests again turned violent and the police opened fire on the protestors to disperse them.
Though , no final word has been said by the authorities over killings of protestors outside the US consulate in Karachi yesterday, but some local media reports suggest that the firing that killed one dozen persons was opened by the US guards on duty.
Similarly the protests in Islamabad and Rawalpindi are getting more violent . There are reports of clashes between the police and the protestors .
Army conveys can be seen on the streets of Islamabad to check any untoward incidents.
US and Israel had assassinated Iran’s Supreme Leader , Ayatullah Khanenei in aerial attacks on Saturday morning. These attacks had also killed all top military and political leadership of Iran.
Killing of Iran’s top leadership has thrown entire region of Middle East in crisis. It has also created very alarming situation in Pakistan.
Pakistanis are demanding result-oriented retaliation against Israel and US over criminal attacks on Iran.
US and Israel are facing severe missile attacks in retaliation of attacks on Iran. Iran has hit US bases in ME to give these two aggressors befitting response to US and Israel.
