ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN), Raja Zafarul Haq , on Saturday claimed Tunnisia informed Pakistan on Isreal ‘s air attack on its nuclear programme in 1981.
Raja Zafarul Haq ,who is also secretary general of Motmair e Islami, made this stunning revealation while addressing a seminar on ” Palestine issue, its Problems and Opportunities”, here on Saturday.
Raja Zafarul Haq recalled he was Pakistan’s ambassador to Tunis in 2018, when he got information from a very reliable official source that Israel’s fighter aeroplanes were being painted in Indian Air Force color in held Kashmir to use for attack on Pakistan’s nuclear installation.
“I was an ambassador in Tunis back in 1981 when one of the senior officials of Tunisian government passed on to me very specific information about Israel’s covet attack on Pakistan’s nuclear installation and it was immediately passed on to the President of Pakistan to foil the plan”.
Raja Zafarul Haq giving nature of the secret information to the participants added that according to the Tunisian official source, Israeli Air Force aeroplanes had landed at an airbase in Indian held Kashmir and they were being painted there in Indian Air Force color to give an impression that the Pakistan’s nuclear Installation was carried out by India.
Raja Zafarul Haq said ” When I spoke to the president of Pakistan to pass him on information about Israel’s possible attack on nuclear installations, he immediately confirmed it and said this information was already with him and a strategy to counter it was being workout on war-footing basis”.
Pakistan also raise the issue in parliament to inform the world about Israel’s nefarious design and this barred India and Israel from implementing its plan of damaging Pakistan’s nuclear installation.
Raja Zafarul Haq urged upon the Muslim countries to workout a strategy for supporting Palestians to help them push out Israel from Jerusalem.
Israel had made several attempts in 80s a d 90s to damage Pakistan ‘s nuclear installation, but each time it failed to implement its design due to Pakistan’s effective air surviliance.
Jamaat Islami chief, senatior Sirajul Haq, in his address to the seminar said Israel has used its best technology to defeat unarmed Palestinians for two weeks, but he failed to get its objectives. He urged upon the Muslim countries should extend full support to Palestinian to enable them to fight against Israeli occupation.
Other speakera also highlighted Palestine cause and urged the world community to stop Israel from occupying palestine land.
