Federal cabinet sworn in likely today

Bilawal to take charge of Foreign ministry

ISLAMABAD ; After continuous efforts for around one week, prime minister , Mian Shahbaz Sharif, has completed his homework for picking up his cabinet.
Sources privy to the consultative work done by Shahbaz Sharif claim that prime minister has succeeded to convince Pakistan People Party (PPP) leadership that it should go ahead to allow Bilawal Bhutto to join the federal cabinet as Foreign minister. PPP was reluctant to launch young Bhutto as Pakistan’s Foreign minister. However, on the insistence of the prime minister PPP top leadership has finally agreed to allow Bilawal Bhutto to become Pakistan’s Foreign minister. Young Bhutto could be a good addition in Pakistan’s diplomacy as he comes from a family known world over for its services for Pakistan on diplomatic front. His grand father, Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto , the founder of PPP had been a unique stuff as Pakistan ‘s Foreign minister. The people not only in Pakistan rather world over love to listen Bhutto’s speeches at United Nations (UN). One can hope that younger Bhutto will repeat the role of elder Bhutto and play his role as Pakistan’s Foreign minister. PPP’s reluctance on Bilawal Bhutto’s inclusion in the federal cabinet of Mian Shahbaz Sharif delayed announcement of the federal cabnet. PPP’s top faces , Syed Khurshid Shah, Syed Navid Qamar , Sheri Rehman, Shazia Mari are likely to join the federal cabinet. PMLN is likely to include Khawaja Asif, Rana Sana Ullah, Khawaja Saad Rafique , Maryam Aurangzeb, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Mifta Ismael , Ahsin Iqbal , Khurrum Dastgir Khan and Nazir Tarar in the federal cabinet.
The portfolios will be decided soon after sworn in of the cabinet cabinet. Mohsin Dawar of PDM and Zain Bhugti of National Watan Party will also join federal cabinet of Mian Shahbaz Sharif .
Since hitch of cabinet sharing formula is over, the announcement of the federal cabinet of Shahbaz Sharif is expected on Friday or max Saturday . According to the sharing formula, major share of the federal cabinet with 10 ministers will go to Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN), its next major share holder will be PPP with 7 ministers . Jamiat Ulema Islam Fazal group (JUI-F) will get 3:ministries, Mutihida Qaumi Movement (MQM) will get two ministries . JUI-F will also get the office of deputy speaker in national assembly.
Sources said the government and its allies have also reached an understanding on constitutional posts.
