ISLAMABAD : October 4,2022:. Prime minister , Shahbaz Sharif , has appointed Tariq Bajwa , a retired senior civil servant as his advisor on Finance ministry.
A formal notification to this effect was issued on Wednesday.
Tariq Bajwa had held key posts in the past. He has served as a Governor State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) in the past . He also served as Finance secretary .
Tariq Bajwa has lifelong experience to handle economic affairs of the country.
For new assignment , Mr Bajwa, has been appointed as an advisor to the prime minister and his status would be equal to the minister for state
