ISLAMABAD : Dec 27,2022: Pakistan has made major achievement by nabbing three accused involved in I-10 sector suicide bombing .
Interior minister , Rana Sanaullah, on Tuesday disclosed in an interview to a private TV channel that Pakistan’s security department has arrested the facilitators , executors and handlers of Islamabad bomb blast .
A suicide bomber had blown himself in I-10 sector last week when an Islamabad police party checked him and tried to search him in a taxi , feeling him a doubtful person. A police man and a civilian lost lives in the incident . The incident also left half a dozen others injured.
The security related institutions had rushed to the area after the bombing to search the scene and collect necessary evidence.
Rana Sanaullah told the interviewer that the accused, who are now in the custody of law enforcing agencies, traveled from Kuram Agency to Rawalpindi and from there they provided explosive material to the suicide bomber for carrying out bombing in Islamabad . He said taxi driver, who carried the bomber from Pir Wadahi to I-10 in his taxi where he blew himself up to avoid arrest by the police, was not a party to the terrorism activity. Interior minister said the accused network has been unearthed and each one of its character will be punished through the court of law.
Arresting of the accused who planned , facilitated and executed Islamabad bombing in less than a week and dismantle terrorists network is a big achievement of Pakistan.
This swift action also suggests that Pakistan:s intelligence agencies and law enforcing departments were on the move to check any torror.activity in Pakistan
