Islamabad : Jan 27 , 2024 : Pakistan has condemned killing of its nationals in Savaran district of Iran and demanded of Tehran to take swift action against those involved in this henous act against humanity for giving them exemplary punishment . Pakistan’s Foreign Office in its reaction over killing of 9 Pakistan nationals who were working in Iran as labourers said ” The terrorists act of killing innocent Pakistanis in Savaran district of Iran is the most henous act against humanity “. The Foreign Office said Pakistan is fully cognizant of the terror act committed of killing 9 Pakistani labourers in Iran by an organised terrorist group and seek details of the happening. Killing of 9 Pakistani labourers in Iran has happened at a time when Islamabad and Tehran have resumed diplomatic relations after firing of missiles and airstrikes on each other early this month. Pakistan and Iran had taken hawkish steps against each other early this month’s claiming to target terrorists in each other’s territory .
This unwanted development put Pakistan -Iran Relations at jeopardy However , soon after hitting each other both counties felt gravity of the situation and rushed back to avoid escalation. In reconciliatory measure , both counties welcomed each other’s ambassadors to resume diplomatic relations .
Exactly at the time when Pakistan’s ambassador to Iran, Mudasir Tipu, presented his certificates of appointment to Iranian president on Saturday , the terrorists opened firing on Pakistani labourers in Savaran district who were having labourer work in Savaran district of Iran. Apparently , the killing of innocent Pakistani labourers in Iran is an act of terrorism committed by Sur Machals , an anti Pakistan terrorists organised which was attacked by Pakistan ‘s forces in the same area early this month where 9 Pakistani labourers have been killed.
Pakistan ‘s ambassador to Iran , Mudasir Tipu on Saturday said Pakistan is shocked over killing of its labourers in Iran and demands exemplary punishment to those involved in this henous act .
