Karachi : March 8,2024: The opening ceremony of the industry 4.0 training titled “leveraging artificial intelligence in power BusinI” by crystal system group was held at the Skill Development Centre of Pakistan Maritime Science and Technology Park (PMSTP) in Karachi. Mr. Syed Syedain Raza Zaidi, Chairman Karachi Port Trust graced the Ceremony as the chief guest.
Rear Admiral Retd Ahmed Fauzan HI(M), Pro Rector RIC Bahria University welcomed the guest on behalf of Rector Bahria University Vice Admiral Retired Asif Khaliq HI(M) and apprised that Crystal System’s Industry 4.0 Training facility is in-fact the first of it’s kind facility in Pakistan. The training is being provided free of cost under an MoU between Bahria University and Crystal System Group. Pro Rector RIC applauded Mr. Canzio Dovigo, the founding President of the Crystal System Group (CSG) for his vision and for the trust he has bestowed in Pakistani Youth. He opined that CSG’s commitment to train over 10,000 Pakistani Students free of cost and assist the brighter ones in their placements across the globe have only a few parallels.
Ms Gabraila Divigo CFO Crystal System Group and Mr. Marco Rossetti Business Director CSG presented the brief overview of the Crystal Talent Academy. Ms Gabraila Divigo congratulated the trainees and thank the Chief guest and the management of the Bahria University on start of the training. She dilated on the relevance of the training to the emerging industrial needs and the advantage it will accrue to the graduates in their job placement.
Commodore (R) Arshad M. Khan SI(M), director Pakistan Maritime Science and Technology Park presented an overview of the PMSTP and highlighted its expected contribution in the growth of maritime industry and National GDP. He highlighted the progress of PMSTP since its launch on 4 September 2023. Mr. Jibran Jamshed Talent Manager Microsoft, dilated on the ongoing transition from 4th to 5th industrial revolution that shall be driven by the AI and related disciplines.
Mr. Syed Syedain Raza Zaidi, Chairman Karachi Port Trust congratulated the Bahria University, CEO KESTRAL Mr. Liaquat Ali Baig and Crystal System Group for a much-needed initiative of starting industry 4.0 training. He opined that IT, software and AI are the most rewarding skill sets that shall be pursued by our youth. He was of the view that these accrue foreign exchange earning and thus provide remedy to our existing economic vows. The Chairman advised the students to aim high and work diligent for their own as well as country’s progress & prosperity. He also appreciated Crystal System Group for their valuable initiative and for their trust in the Pakistani Youth.
The ceremony was attended by the CEO of prominent Tech/business firms, Representatives of CSG and DG and Faculty of the Bahria University Karachi Campus.
