ISLAMABAD: August 7, 2024: As era of conspiracies takes new shape and a Pakistan has been arrested in the US on alleged involvement in failed attempt on the life of former US president Trump, Pakistan show extremely cautious response on the issue. Foreign Office Spokesperson, Mumtaz Zuhra in a statement said “Regarding media reports of the alleged involvement of a Pakistani national in connection with a foiled assassination attempt in United States”, the Spokesperson, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said:
“We have seen the media reports. We are in touch with the US authorities and await further details. We have also noted the statements by US officials that this is an ongoing investigation. Before giving our formal reaction, we also need to be sure of the antecedents of the individual in question.”
