THATHA: Taking the lead for curtailing spread of COVID-19, the Ulama and doctors gave lectures to the people in mosques in Thatha Sajawal after Juma prayer as a part of a campaign to create awareness among them on corona pandemic.
The doctors and ulama urged the masses in their lectures to strictly follow the standard operating procedures (SoPs) like use of face mask, observing social distancing and avoiding physical interaction, to help the government curtail the spread of corona virus in the country.
Corona is back in Pakistan in the second wave and its showing deadly symptoms. Its rate of infection is much higher than the first wave.
The joint efforts of ulama and docors like its being done in Thatha Sajawal is an encourging step.
The government is also appealing to ulama to come forward and extend a helping hand to create awareness among the public to avoid spread of corona virus.
