LAHORE, November 30, 2024: The fate of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 remains uncertain after a meeting of the International Cricket Council (ICC) Board failed to reach a resolution on the tournament’s hosting.
The meeting, initially scheduled for today, may now be delayed by a day or two, according to sources.
The virtual session held yesterday was cut short after just 30 minutes, with no definitive outcomes.

While it was expected that the ICC Board would reconvene today, the official statement from the ICC only indicated that discussions would continue in the coming days, without specifying a date for the next meeting.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) reaffirmed its stance on the hybrid model for hosting the tournament and showed no willingness to compromise on the issue.
