The nationwide power breakdown of January 2021 had resulted in burst of Dhabeji-Karachi water pipeline.
According to our correspondent …Amin Farooqi…breakdown of power and subsequent burstimg of Karachi-Dhabeji pipeline is a regular episode and this criminal activity is planned and executed by KE-Dhabeji water pump mafia to pocket public money.
The mafia manages breakdown which damages Karachi-Dhabeji water pipeline and then it gets funds from concerned department for repair work. This repair work is used by the mafia to make ill-gotton money.
The civil society has demanded of the authorities to take notice of planned damage of KE-Dhabeji mafia caused to Karachi-Dhabeji pipeline and conduct inquiry into the case for putting an end to this nefarious activity and save this sensitive asset of Karachi-Dhabeji pipeline, besides fixing up those who were involved in it.
