JEDDAH : The Pakistan community has become active in celebrating Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day and has started preparations to celebrate Independence Day in a better way this year. The Pakistan Investors Forum and the Pakistan Unity Forum, comprising all social and political parties, will jointly organize a grand ceremony on August 14 at the Pakistani School Rehab in the evening, in which a large number of diplomats from Saudi and other countries, Saudi investors, the Pakistani community and their families will be given a dinner, in which the national anthem, children’s tableaus, and government measures regarding the development of Pakistan will be explained. Active personalities from Jeddah participated in the consultative meeting and gave suggestions for celebrating Pakistan’s National Day in a befitting manner.
The consultative meeting was held under the chairmanship of Pakistan Investors Forum President Chaudhry Shafqat, which was attended by Shafqat Mahmood, Pakistan Unity Founder Riaz Bukhari, Muslim League Chairman Chaudhry Muhammad Akram, PPP President Tawaswar Chaudhry, Kashmir Community Sardar Ashfaq, Sardar Waqas, Faisal Tahir, Ali Khurshid, Host Chaudhry Farooq Anjum, Pakistan Journalists Forum Chairman Amir Muhammad Khan, Investors Forum Advisory Committee Chairman Azhar Warraich.
President of the event Chaudhry Shafqat Mahmood said that this year we should celebrate with great enthusiasm with the slogan and agenda that “When there is a country, we are there.” He thanked the Pakistan Consulate for its cooperation in this memorable event.
Amir Muhammad Khan suggested that the speeches in the event be reduced and enthusiastic songs and children’s tableaus should be presented. Chaudhry Shafqat invited the Jeddah forums that participated in this consultative meeting. We also invited those who were unable to attend to make a new commitment on this Independence Day – to celebrate with progress, unity, and patriotism.
