ISLAMABAD: Sometimes you play very smartly to hit the targeted goal and your strategy keeps working as per your thinking. But its not essential that your smartness always keeps bringing your desired result.
Its very much possible that your only one move exposes your real face to the public.

Cladded in off -white full body covering dress and wearing white hand gloves ,the first lady…Bushra Bibi… posed herself in a few television appearances as a person having least interest in politics or the states affairs.
Only a few in Pakistan knew that the first lady not only has keen interest in politics, but also was actively engaged in managing PTI affairs.
Bushra Bibi, according to very close circle of PTI, gives dictations to the party leaders as to how they should behave in media talks. She also usually tells the party spokespersons how they should defend the prime minister in media programmes.
The first lady , according to our sources, was actively engaged in giving ‘advice’ to Punjab chief minister, Usman Buzdar. Her telephonic calls from Islamabad to ‘Waseem Akram Plus’ did made some noise in media, but her smart strategy kept her shrouded like any mysterious character.
Just very close friends of prime minister, Imran Khan and senior party leaders knew how important Bushra Bibi’s telephonic orders for ‘ Waseem Akram Plus’ were. But, as I said in the very start of the article, sometimes only one move can expose your real face to the public.
The same proved true in the case of award of senate ticket to very close friend of the first lady from Gujranwala now settled in Lahore.
Farhat Khan, who has been awarded senate ticket from Punjab on general women seat, is not only a close friend of the first lady, but also a trusted confident of her.
You can guess the level of friendship and confidence of the first lady with Farhat Khan that her post nikkah meetings with PTI chief Imran Khan were held at her house in Lahore. Not only this, nikkah of both ( Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi) was also held at the same house of the same confident ( Farhat Khan) in Lahore.

Farhat Khan enjoys the status of very powerful lady in Lahore since PTI’s coming in power in 2018.
‘Waseem Akram Plus’ , according to our sources in Lahore, can not dare to defy any order given from this powerful lady.
Farhat Khan is the same lady whose husband had summoned a district police officer (DPO) to his house to seek explanation for misbehaving by his juniors with Bushra Bibi’s kids in 2019.
Now award of senate ticket to a personal friend (Farhat Khan) of the first lady has proven that PTI was not a democratic party. Rather , award of senate ticket to a lady whose only qualification is personal friendship with the first lady has established that PTI was like a submissive personal servant to Imran Khan’s family. It also raised questions on Imran Khan’ s rhetoric of merit. Had his party exercised even minimum merit -based decision for award of senate ticket, it would have not gone in favour of a friend of the first lady.
