Islamabad : Sindh Chief minister, Murad Ali Shah , met with prime minister , Shahbaz Sharif , in Islamabad on Wednesday.
According to the Prime Minister Office (PMO) handout issued here said both the leaders discussed the political situation in the country during the meeting. It also said Sindh Chief Minister briefed the prime minister on the progress of the on-going development projects in his province. He informed the Prime Minister that his government was according top priority to timely completion of the development projects designed in the current year’s development programme.
The handout added that the Prime Minister assured the chief minister of Sindh that the federal government will extend all possible help to his government to complete the development projects in time and provide the best facilities to the people of Sindh.
The prime minister on this occasion said Pakistan People Party (PPP) is a coalition partner of his government in the centre and this coalition can expedite the progress of development in the country.
Prime minister directed to all the concerned departments of the federal government to lend every possible support to the provinces for early completion of development projects.
Others who were present in the meeting including deputy prime minister and Foreign minister , Ishaq Dar , federal Law minister , Nazeer Tarar , Federal minister and Planning Commission chairman , Ehsan Iqbal , and advisor to prime minister , Rana Sanaullah.
