JEDDAH: To mark the completion of one year since Operation Bayan-ul-Marsus and the victory of the Battle of Haq, a graceful cake-cutting ceremony was organized by the Pakistan Welfare Association in Jeddah, where rich tribute was paid to the Pakistani forces.
The event was attended by officials of the Pakistan Welfare Association, the Hazara Welfare Overseas Pakistanis Forum, and a large number of overseas Pakistanis. Participants jointly cut a cake to celebrate the victory of the Battle of Haq and chanted slogans of “Pakistan Army Zindabad.”
Speakers on the occasion said that the Pakistani forces are among the strongest in the world and have the capability to give a crushing response to enemies at all times.
They stated that thanks to the successful policies of the Field Marshal, Pakistan’s flag has been raised high across the world, while overseas Pakistanis are now looked at with respect and honor, and the prestige of the Pakistani passport has increased.
The speakers added that overseas Pakistanis stand shoulder to shoulder with the Pakistani forces to defend their homeland and salute their brave armed forces.
The ceremony was attended by President of Pakistan Welfare Association Pervaiz Qureshi, General Secretary Raja Muhammad Bashir, Vice President Haji Muhammad Ishaq, Chairman of Hazara Welfare Overseas Pakistanis Forum Chaudhry Dalpazir, General Secretary Muhammad Iqbal, Chairman of Pakistan Media Journalists Forum International Chaudhry Noor-ul-Hasan Gujjar, Dr. Mazhar Hussain, Riaz Khan Swati, Adnan Khan, Ahmed Nazir, and other prominent figures.
