Peshawar – In a coordinated effort to reinforce security and eliminate anti state and criminal elements, the Swat Police, in collaboration with the Pak Army, conducted a large scale joint Grand Search and Strike Operation in the mountainous areas of Tehsil Kabal.The operation was led by District Police Officer (DPO) Swat, Muhammad Omar Khan, and involved personnel from the Swat Police, Pak Army, Elite Force, Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS), District Special Branch (DSB), as well as a significant number of local residents who actively supported the security initiative.According to official details, the operation was carried out in the mountainous localities of Qalagay and Jakar Baba, falling within the jurisdiction of Kabal Police Station.
Security forces conducted an extensive search of suspected hideouts believed to have been used by anti state and criminal elements as part of ongoing efforts to prevent any threat to peace and stability in the region.During the operation, security forces also met with local elders and community representatives to discuss the prevailing security situation.They exchanged views on the importance of public cooperation and sought information regarding suspicious individuals and unusual activities to strengthen intelligence based policing.
Speaking on the occasion, DPO Swat Muhammad Omar Khan reaffirmed the police’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding the lives and property of citizens.He said that search operations would continue across various parts of the district in view of the prevailing security environment.The primary objective of these operations is to root out anti social, anti state and criminal elements while maintaining strict surveillance over their activities, he stated.The DPO emphasized that no individual or group would be allowed to challenge the writ of the state or disrupt law and order under any circumstances.He added that the Swat Police, in close coordination with other law enforcement agencies, remain on high alert and are fully prepared to deal decisively with anyone attempting to undermine the hard earned peace of Swat.The joint operation reflects the continued resolve of Pakistan’s security institutions to enhance public safety, strengthen community engagement, and ensure lasting peace and stability throughout the district.
