ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Muslim League Quaid e Azam(PML-Q) , a key ally to the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) government , on Monday cleared its position on the joint opposition’s proposed no confidence move against prime minister, Imran Khan, for toppling his government. Moonis Elahi, the federal minister and a young political face of Chaudharys of Gujrat , told prime minister, Imran Khan , at an event here on Monday that PMLQ will not back out from its commitment to be ally his government through thick or thin. Pointing to prime minister, Imran Khan who was sitting at the stage as chief guest of the event, Moonis Elahi said ‘ Khan sahib do not worry, we make relations for honour them”.
The prime minister smiled at Moonis Elahi on hearing his assurance that PMLQ was with his government to defend his government against the opposition’s possible no confidence motion.
Moonis Elahi’s clear support for Imran Khan government on behalf of PMLQ has come after just 24 hours of a meeting of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) top leaders with the Chudharys of Gujrat in Lahore to seek their party support for the opposition’s proposed no confidence motion.

The opposition may not yield desired.result from its plan meant for no confidence against prime minister, Imran Khan . Untimely ailment of Pakistan People Party (PPP) supremo , Asif Ali Zardari is not a good sign for the opposition’s proposed no trust move to topple his government . The opposition has also failed in n mustering clear support for its no confidence motion from other allies of the PTI government like Mutihida Qaumi Movement (MQM ).
Prime minister, Imran Khan , also responded to Moonis Elahi’s speech . He said PTI workers were committed to a cause of Pakistan and they were trained to fight out in any circumstances. He said PMLN got the idea of enquiring about Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain’s health. He said Shahbaz Sharif has started to go to the funeral and marriage ceremonies to get support of parliamentarians for the proposed no confidence. The prime minister also hinted at building new water reserviours including Kala Bagh dam and said Sindh needs to be briefed on its benefits to complete Kala Bagh dam.
