American aid transforms Mahabat Khan mosque, earns gratitude in Peshawar

Peshawar : Jan 17- Thousands of dollars have been spent by the US government to restore, repair, and renovate the Mughal era decorations on the lower walls of the historic Mahabat Khan Mosque in Peshawar. People are grateful to the American government for the renovation and restoration of Muslim mosques, as what the Department of Religious Affairs and Auqaf or the Department of Culture could not achieve, the American government has done.
The US government released funds for the renovation and restoration of the mosque. Surrounding this mosque are the markets and shops of prominent businessmen dealing in diamonds, gold, silver, and currency, who often come to pray. If these traders collectively donated, a palace could have been built from the mosque, but the desire for Money has blinded them. So far, many churches have been attacked, and Christians have been persecuted across Pakistan, but the same American Christian government is now spending huge dollars in the construction of our mosques. However, we do not take care of their places of worship. Which is a regret and drowning for us. This help from the American government has won the hearts of the people of Peshawar, and they appreciate it along with US Consul General Shante Moore based in Peshawar. Plaques should be displayed at the mosque so that people visiting know how sincere the non-Muslim nation is with us. The government of Pakistan should protect the places of worship of the minority community just as non-Muslims protect our places of worship. Not only this, but millions of dollars have also been spent on the development of various sectors across the country by the American government. Saudi Arabia and China do not spend as much money as US government is currently spending on the development of the Pakistani people. This proves the friendship of the American government with the people of Pakistan.
