LAHORE: March 16,2023: : An important meeting was held under the chairmanship of Additional Secretary Culture Punjab Nazia Jabeen at Alhamra Arts Center, the Mall. The Annual development schemes were reviewed in detail, and officers of all institutions under the Department of Information and Culture participated in the meeting.
Nazia Jabeen, while issuing instructions to complete all the ongoing development schemes within the stipulated period, said that all the projects except the DGPR scheme “Bilateral Communication” and “Alhamra Academy of Visual Arts” continued in the right direction. Funds are required for Bazm Iqbal Scheme, PILAC, and Majlis Taraqi-e-Adab also need funds to complete their projects. During the meeting, it was decided that the unutilized funds of various schemes of DGPR and Alhamra would be reallocated.
Additional Secretary Culture Punjab Nazia Jabeen said that the unutilized funds should be informed in writing, it is a challenge to achieve the goals, which can be achieved with a high strategy, and available resources will be utilized to enhance departmental efficiency. She further said that new projects would open new avenues of opportunities while creating new development schemes, and contemporary requirements should be kept in mind.
