Awaz -e-khalaq Foundation rejects ‘fake’ censes
Thatha; Awaz -e-Khalaq Foundation has rejected latest conses and demanded a fresh conses across Pakistan to get correct numbers of population in the country.
Awaz —e-Khalaq Foundation president , Faisal Ali Baloch, termed the last conses unrealistc and unreal. In a statement issued here , Faisal Ali Baloch said last conses showed totally incorrect population numbers of Karachi as its process was conducted withour any approved strategy Faisal said incorrect and fake conses has put Karachi at total disadvantage and the same was a basic reason of lagging behind of Karachi in recent years.
He said Awaz – e- Khalaq Foundation has decided to contest last conses figures. Faisal suggested the government should adopt a real strategy based on an international cretaria which should determine how those people will be counted who live in Karachi on temprary bases and how those who are from Afghanistan will be counted in the future conses
Awaz-e- Khalaq Foundtion secretary general, Saba Nasir, said incorrect conses was adding to the miseries of the people of Karachi. She stressed the need of holding a transparent procedure for conses so that all parts of the country get their due share in finanacial resources of Pakistan.
