ISLAMABAD : May 21,2025 :National Accountability Bureau (NAB) deputy chairman , Sohail Abdul Nasir , has said that in the fight against corruption, the most important issue is international cooperation. He gave these remarks during 6th plenary meeting of the Global Operational Network of Anti-Corruption Law Enforcement Authorities of the United Nations on Drugs and Crime held in Baku.
He said that Pakistan is ready to sign a memorandum with Azerbaijan in the field of combating corruption. Azerbaijan and Pakistan can exchange experiences in the fight against corruption and organize joint training. These steps, especially in combating the most serious issue of money laundering, can yield very positive results.
Deputy Chairman NAB appreciated Azerbaijan’s hosting of this event and stated that” we are ready for all kinds of support and wish to work with Azerbaijan.”
