Karachi airport : Pakistan People Party (PPP) chairman and Pakistan’s special missionary for post India -Pakistan conflict diplomacy, Bilawal Bhutto, on Friday addressed a public rally here after returning from his foreign mission.
The Shahbaz government had assigned PPP chairman and ex Foreign minister , Bilawal Bhutto, to visit several important capitals including US , European Union and UK and apprise the leaders of these important countries on the cause of Pakistan- -India conflict that occured in early May this year.
Both neighbouring nuclear powers had sent their special missionaries to US and some other world capitals after May last conflict to muster support for their respective positions in post conflict times. Pakistan’s mission, led by Bilawal Bhutto , have successfully conveyed Pakistan’s side of the story to convince the world leaders that it was India’s hostile behaviour which triggered the conflict in May last between the two counties. Mr Bhutto led mission had conveyed to the key global leaders that India was again creating the war hysteria that could bring the two nuclear powers to the war in the near future.
Mr Bhutto had arrived at Karachi airport last evening where huge crowd of his supporters accorded him heroic welcome.
Addressing the public gathering , Mr Bhutto said he accomplished his mission of defeating India on diplomatic front after it had suffered a humiliating defeat by Pakistan’s forces on the battle field.
He said ” I exposed India’s lying on Pak-India conflict and apprised the global leadership on facts that involved recent India -Pakistan conflict”.
He further said ” Our narrative during diplomacy mission was based on truth unlike India’s fake and lying-based narrative “.
Mr Bhutto also lashed out at his political opponents in his speech and called them as political non-starters . He warned that if India tried to stop flow of waters from Sindhu River , Pakistan will have another war against it. He added that PPP will be a frontline force to fight against blocking of waters from Sindhu River.
Mr Bhutto noted that the world understands Pakistan’s position on terrorism . He added that Pakistan is a victim of terrorism and it has been accepted by the world leaders whom he met during his diplomatic mission.
