ISLAMABAD : September 19, 2022: Pakistan Tehreek e Isaf (PTI) chief , Imran Khan’s political future seems at stake as he is facing a serious threat of being disqualified by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) in Toshakhana case.
The ECP on Monday reserved judgement in Thoshakhana case.
Imran Khan is facing Toshakhana case for not mentioning the gifts he received during foreign visits as prime minister in his returns.
The PTI had received costly watches , gold jewellery and other very precious items during his visits to various countries . Imran Khan instead following the rules took away costly gifts from Toshakhana by paying nominal price and later sold them in the open market .
Imran Khan made millions out of sale of valuable gifts without consideration that his trade of Toshakhana gifts can expose him to serious legal problems at any later stage .
Only one case of selling precious watch.gifted him by HE Saudi Crown Prince , Mohammad Bin Salman, is enough to prove that Imran Khan concealed the facts in the case. Rather taking away gifts valuing millions of rupees in violation of the rules proves that Imran Khan lied on oath. This falls in serious breach of the law.
NEWSMAN has exclusive information that Imran Khan’s principal secretary , Azam Khan, PTI senior leader and a close political aide to PTI chief, Zulfi Bukhari, had a role in selling the valueable watch to a Lahore based Watch Company for Rs 180 million.
All these characters are considered close to former first lady , Bushra Bibi and its possible that she might have advised Zulfi Bukhari to sell the watch given by Saudi Crown Prince to his spouse to a Lahore based Watch.Company owner for Rs 180 million.
NEWSMAN also investigated that Azam Khan, who was a close friend -cum principal secretary to then prime minister ,Imran Khan , used his official position to get changed the record of the Toshakhana after surfacing the case of gifted watch and its sale to Lahore based Watch Company .
Azam Khan threatened the concerned officer of Toshakhana when he refused to follow his illegal orders to change the record of Toshakhana .
Azam Khan who wanted to hush up Toshakhana case against his buddy- cum prime minister used every tactic to get fudged the record of Toshakhana to erase evidence against Imran Khan of getting valuable gifts just for peanuts , but the honest officer refused to bug down to mounting pressure and conveyed to Azam Khan that he will not go for any unlawful act what so ever to protect Imran Khan in the case.
Similarly , Imran Khan , violated the rules to grab many other valuable gifts he received from various head of states during his visits to foreign countries.
Toshakhana case is a serious case against Imran Khan. ECP has been provided evidences to prove that Imran Khan committed a crime by taking away valuable gifts unlawfully.
ECP has heard Toshakhana case against Imran Khan on priority basis and legal experts believe ECP has more than wanted proofs to disqualify PTI chief in the case.
Imran Khan is fully aware of seriousness of Toshakhana case and he could foresee its result in the near future. His continuous character assassination of Chief Election Comissioner (CEC), Aftab Sultan Raja , was a deliberate attempt to preempt ECP to blackmail it and stop it from giving a decision of possible disqualification against him in Toshakhana case.
