ISLAMABD : Chaudhary Tanvir, a Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) senator and senior leader, has said he would personally look into the matter of Interior minister, Shaikh Rashid Ahmad , and pay him back 100 % extra when time comes.
The PMLN leader had expressed these views while talking to the media outside of a Rawalpindi court where the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) had presented him for physical remand. Chauadhary Tanvir added that his arrest was a worst case of political victimization, but such pressure tactics would not bug down to change political loyalty.
“We have faced political victimisation in the past and remained loyal to PMLN and would face this new phase with the same courage as it was a matter of days. But I want to convey my message to Shaikh Rashid that I will look into his matter personally and pay you more than what you did in my case ”, Chaudhary Tanvir observed.
Chaudhary Tanvir is a political opponent of Shaikh Rashid Ahmed as both hail from Raawapindi and take each other as direct political threat. Both have severe differences for years. He had faced similiar cases of political victimisation in Musharraf regime. He was put behind the jail back in Musharraf regime for showing unflinching loyalty to PMLN.
Since Chaudhary Tanvir is a big political short in Rawalpindi region he has always been put to political victimization by different regime to switch over to other hand picked parties but he stood firm through all bad times and remained committed to his political party.
FIA had arrested Chaudhary Tanvir last week from Karachi Karachi airport prior to board a Dubai bound flight. Chaudhary Tanvir believes that FIA arrested him on direct instruction of Shaikh Rashid Ahmed.
Shaikh Rashid Ahmad is known for screwing -up his political opponents when in power. His nature shows he never misses any opportunity to damage his political opponents whenever he gets any opportunity and he used the same nature to get Chaudhary Tanvir fixed up in a political motivated case.
Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) has made a case of benami property against Chaudhary Tanvir soon after forming the government in centre and since then he was a prime target of Shiakh Rashid Ahmad. Foreseeing his arrest in the case Chaudhary Tanvir had left Pakistan for Dubai. He returned to Pakistan some two weeks ago to participate in a marriage ceremony of his son. Shiakh Rashid Ahmad took it golden opportunity to get him nabbed when he was traveling back to Dubai from Karachi last week.
