The PTI had filed the reference with the ECP for disqualification of its those members national assembly who distracted from the party line during the no confidence motion moved by the opposition against deposed prime minister , Imran Khan.
The PTI members against whom their party sent the reference to the ECP had contested the allegations of violating article 63/A of the constitution by deviating from the party line . These PTI members national assembly in their reply to the ECP had claimed that neither they voted in favour of the no confidence motion nor tm committed any violation of the party act hence the reference filed against them was based on bad intention.
